‘Hangar East: Monument to the Plane’

Since the Bijlmer disaster in 1992, Orna Wertman has been working on ‘the airplane’ as a metaphor a.o. for travel and fatalism.
In Museum Perron Oost she presents objects with airplanes and photo collages and her new book ‘I was in Japan’.
Beatrice von Bormann, curator of modern art, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, wrote a foreword in her new book and will also open the exhibition.
